Broadcast Schedule for Detroit Red Wings Released

With the start of the season 35 days away, the broadcast schedule for the Detroit Red Wings has been released.

Fox Sports Detroit, the Wings' local television broadcaster, will broadcast 71 regular season games, with 12 slated to air on Fox Sports Detroit Plus.

The Wings will also get plenty of exposure in the United States and Canada, with 28 games (15 on NHL Network, 13 on NBC or NBC Sports Network) set to air nationwide in the US. 20 games will air nationally in Canada, with 14 on TSN or TSN2, and six on CBC's "Hockey Night in Canada." Also, five games will air on RDS, Canada's French-speaking network.

The Wings will also be a part of NBC Sports Network's "Wednesday Night Rivalry" Series six times, and will be on NBC's National Game of the Week four times.
