With only two weeks remaining, the time to make a move for a playoff push is on across the NFL, and several teams are embracing the challenge. Such is not the case in Pooch's Picks, as the human has risen to the occasion and is looking poised to put away the dogs for 2013 with one more solid week.

Unfortunately, both Cooper and Izzy barked up the wrong tree last week. Cooper continued his slide to the bottom, going 6-9, while Izzy's 7-8 record was no better. It doesn't help matters for the pups that their human was 9-6 and has padded a widening lead further. This week, as time gets shorter for a move, the dogs like Miami, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver and the New York Giants unanimously. It seems last week's loss was the final straw for the canines as it relates to the Detroit Lions.

Miami at Buffalo: The surprising Dolphins are for real, but can they win in cold Buffalo? The dogs both think so, picking Miami after being impressed by their recent run. The Bills play defense, though, and that leads in an upset. C: Miami, I: Miami, M: Buffalo

Minnesota at Cincinnati: Despite the Vikings shocking upset last week, the dogs think the Bengals are too good, and win at home. This time, they're right. Minnesota is solid at home, but falls apart on the road. Bengals win. C: Cincinnati, I: Cincinnati, M: Cincinnati

Indianapolis at Kansas City: The first split decision for the dogs. Cooper likes Kansas City's momentum to continue and Izzy thinks the Colts pull a road upset. The Chiefs offense is too strong, and they win big. C: Kansas City, I: Indianapolis, M: Kansas City

Tampa Bay at St. Louis: In a game without playoff implications, Cooper likes the hometown Rams to win, while Izzy likes the road Buccaneers. Tampa Bay has found a way down the stretch, and they continue that this week. C: St. Louis, I: Tampa Bay, M: Tampa Bay

Cleveland at New York Jets: The Browns are on the road and fell apart late last week. Still, the dogs seem to have appreciated their pluck, as both are picking Cleveland unanimously. The Jets have been bad, but home field still counts for something. Jets win. C: Cleveland, I: Cleveland, M: New York Jets

Dallas at Washington: In this classic NFC matchup, the Cowboys badly need a win for playoff positioning. Cooper thinks they get it done, while Izzy predicts the Redskins. Dallas has been trending downward, but they find a way to win a big one on the road. C: Dallas, I: Washington, M: Dallas

New Orleans at Carolina: A big match up for the NFC West sees the Saints travel to Carolina. Izzy likes the Panthers, while Cooper thinks the Saints get the job done. The Panthers manage to pull the upset at home, where they've been tough. C: New Orleans, I: Carolina, M: Carolina

Tennessee at Jacksonville: In another game which doesn't matter for the playoffs, the Titans take on the Jaguars. Izzy calls for a Jacksonville win, while Cooper takes the Titans.  The Jaguars have shown some toughness lately, and they do again with a win. C: Tennessee, I: Jacksonville, M: Jacksonville

Denver at Houston: It won't be a pretty day for the Texans, who get dominated by the Broncos. Both dogs agree, taking Denver to win. C: Denver, I: Denver, M: Denver

New York Giants at Detroit: The dogs aren't buying the Lions to win this week considering their recent negative play. Despite that, the Giants aren't good, so Detroit should find a way to win the battle of mediocre teams. C: New York Giants, I: New York Giants, M: Lions

Arizona at Seattle: Quest Field is a tough place to play and the Seahawks are peaking. Dogs are not biting on an upset as a result, and that's a good choice. Seattle wins big. C: Seattle, I: Seattle, M: Seattle

Pittsburgh at Green Bay: Will Aaron Rodgers play or not? It doesn't matter to Cooper, who's taking the Steelers in an upset in a game which is vital for the standings. Izzy picks the Packers, like she has most of the year. Green Bay is rolling, and they find a way. C: Pittsburgh, I: Green Bay, M: Green Bay

Oakland at San Diego: The Chargers keep their late season run going with another big victory. Cooper is on board with San Diego as well, and Izzy is picking the upset, going with the Raiders on the road. C: San Diego, I: Oakland, M: San Diego

New England at Baltimore: A big game for the AFC pits the Ravens against the Patriots in a playoff redux from last January. Cooper likes the Ravens to win, while Izzy has the Patriots pulling out a game. Baltimore has momentum now, and they win again to prove it. C: Baltimore, I: New England, M: Baltimore

Chicago vs. Philadelphia: Another important game for the NFC sees the Bears head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. This is perhaps the toughest game to call, but Chicago wins because Philadelphia can't stop the pass. Cooper agrees, while Izzy has the Eagles. C: Chicago, I: Philadelphia, M: Chicago

Atlanta at San Francisco: In the Candlestick Park finale, Izzy is picking the upset, while Cooper thinks the 49ers send their old building out in big fashion. Too much defense helps San Francisco stave off a very game Falcons squad. C: San Francisco, I: Atlanta, M: San Francisco

The Standings

Max: 126-79

Cooper: 113-90

Izzy: 107-98
