Last week wasn't much fun, considering the lack of the Detroit Lions within Pooch's Picks. That changes back this week, as the Lions and Philadelphia Eagles are set to do battle in an important Sunday afternoon battle.

Speaking of records, it was finally a rough week for Cooper, who took a drastic step back with an awful 3-10 mark. Is Izzy priming herself for a late season run? It's possible, considering her 8-5 record helped chip away a bit in the standings. Finally, the author was able to get some breathing room at the top. During week 14, amongst other things, the dogs are picking against the Lions again.

Indianapolis at Cincinnati: Andrew Luck must travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals, who are reeling after injuries but are staying above water. Cooper thinks the Bengals take care of business, while Izzy is gong with the Colts. It figures to be cold, and Indianapolis is a different team on the road. Bengals win. Atlanta at Green Bay: The reeling Packers try to get back on the winning track against the Falcons, who are hanging around despite their problems. The Packers are still without Aaron Rodgers and their defense has been bad. Falcons win. Izzy's with the Packers (naturally) and Cooper agrees on the Falcons. C: Atlanta, I: Green Bay, M: Atlanta

Cleveland at New England: The Browns head to take on Bill Belichick, their old head coach. Cooper thinks Belichick wins at home, while Izzy is going with the upset and taking Cleveland. No chance here, as the Browns are a mess. Patriots win big. C: New England, I: Cleveland, M: New England

Detroit at Philadelphia: The main event. Detroit showed some defensive mettle in taking down the Packers, but they face an entirely different challenge this week with the fast Philadelphia offense. They give up a few touchdowns and lose late. Both dogs are also on board, taking the Eagles to fly by the Lions. C: Philadelphia, I: Philadelphia, M: Philadelphia

Miami at Pittsburgh: The Dolphins visit the Steel City to take on the Steelers. No canine is taking Miami to win, which is the right call again. The Steelers are playing well, and though Miami is as well, they don't win this one on the road. C: Pittsburgh, I: Pittsburgh, M: Pittsburgh

Buffalo at Tampa Bay: In a game which could be described as the "who cares" bowl, the Bills head south to take on the Buccaneers. Cooper thinks Tampa Bay gets it done at home, while Izzy is going with the Bills. Tampa Bay has been playing much better lately, so they get the win. C: Tampa Bay, I: Buffalo, M: Tampa Bay

Kansas City at Washington: The Chiefs were humbled again by the Broncos, but have a chance to bounce back in Washington. They do that easily, forcing the Redskins into a few turnovers. Cooper disagrees taking the Redskins, while Izzy takes the Chiefs. Kansas City wins going away. C: Washington, I: Kansas City, M: Kansas City

Minnesota at Baltimore: To stay alive, the Ravens need another victory and the lowly Vikings provide a great opportunity. The dogs are split again, with Cooper taking the Vikings in an upset and Izzy going with Baltimore. The Ravens get the job done with a big win. C: Minnesota, I: Baltimore, M: Baltimore

Tennessee at Denver: The Broncos are back at home to take on the Titans after last weekend's win over the Chiefs, and they keep it going with another big victory over Tennessee. Izzy goes with Denver as well, while Cooper calls for the Titans upset. C: Tennessee, I: Denver, M: Denver

St. Louis at Arizona: The Rams' playoff hopes have taken a major hit in recent weeks, but they can effect it with a victory over the Cardinals. It won't happen, though. Cooper thinks the upset occurs, while Izzy does not. C: St. Louis, I: Arizona, M: Arizona

New York Giants at San Diego: The Giants badly need a win to stay in the hunt for the NFC East division, while the Chargers need a win to feel better about themselves. Izzy likes the Chargers to win, while Cooper is on board with the Giants. It's a tough game to call, but somehow, the Giants win it. C: New York Giants, I: San Diego, M: New York Giants

Seattle at San Francisco: A major NFC West clash has the 49ers looking for revenge against the Seahawks. Cooper thinks Seattle gets the win again, while Izzy likes the 49ers to get their revenge. Seattle wins even though the 49ers are playing better. C: Seattle, I: San Francisco, M: Seattle

Carolina at New Orleans: A big game for the Saints at home against the Panthers, and both dogs believe the Saints play well enough to win at home. The Saints are elite in the dome, and that helps them get the win Sunday night. C: New Orleans, I: New Orleans, M: New Orleans

Dallas at Chicago (Monday Night): A big game for the Bears and Cowboys who both need this game to stay afloat in the NFC playoff race. Cooper thinks Dallas wins, while Izzy says Chicago rebounds off a tough loss to win. Dallas gets the job done over a Bears team which has struggled to play defense this year. Tony Romo's arm is the difference. C: Dallas, I: Chicago, M: Dallas

The Standings

Max: 108-68

Cooper: 102-72

Izzy: 90-86
