The Denver Broncos are finally getting the love that they deserve.

In the midst of a nine-game winning streak and with the opportunity to not only close out the regular season with an 11-game winning streak, but finishing the season as Super Bowl champions by winning 14 straight games, the Broncos are receiving nonstop praise from the media.

After the New England Patriots dismantled the Houston Texans 42-14 in Week 14, many had crowned the Patriots as the "team to beat" in the NFL. However, in Week 15 in front of a national television audience on Sunday Night Football, the Patriots fell behind 31-3 during the third quarter before mounting a late rally and falling short, 38-31, in Foxboro. With the Patriots faltering, the Ravens in a three-game landslide and the Texans embarrassed in front of a national television audience by the Pats two weeks ago, it is clear the Broncos are the best team in the AFC.

The Broncos have the league's longest-winning streak at nine games. The next closest team are the Washington Redskins, who are 8-6, are in the midst of a five-game winning streak.

The Broncos are currently ranked No. 1 on CBSSports' and AP32's Power Rankings. ESPN ranks the Broncos at No. 2, a spot behind the San Francisco 49ers.
