The Denver Broncos (5-3) travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers (2-6) at Bank of America Stadium at 1 PM EST on Sunday afternoon.

This is tale of two teams heading into different directions yet again. The Broncos, for a third straight week, face a team that is performing below expectations. First it was the Saints, then the Bengals, now the Panthers. Carolina knocked off Washington 21-13 last week for their first victory since Week 2. They had been on a five game losing skid. Carolina's problems have mainly been on offense, where Cam Newton has struggled in his sophomore campaign. The Panthers' offense ranks 27th in scoring, scoring just 18.6 PPG.

The Broncos on the other hand are getting hot at the right time. Peyton Manning is on track for career highs in passing yardage and completion percentage while having the second highest touchdown total of his career. The Broncos currently rank fourth in offense and 13th in defense. Denver is averagin 31.6 points per game over their past five games.
