Shawn Morimando didn’t deserve this.

The talented lefty threw his best start of the season with seven scoreless innings on four hits. He walked one and struck out six, leaving the game with a 2-0 lead thanks to solo shots from Yandy Diaz (to lead off the game) and Eric Stamets.

Unfortunately, recently promoted reliever Neil Holland proceeded to give up three runs in two thirds of an inning because the Columbus bullpen was so taxed it had to use catcher Jeremy Lucas in relief the previous two games.

Catcher Adam Moore went 2-4 with a double for the Clippers in the tough loss.
