Ubaldo Jimenez Still Unsigned as Spring Training Approaches

Cleveland Indians fans have not sadly waved goodbye to Ubaldo Jimenez because no other team has signed him yet.

Spring Training begins next week, and the pitcher who carried the Indians to the playoffs still doesn't have a home.

When Jimenez rejected the Tribe's one-year, $14 million offer, it seemed like a matter of time before another team signed him to a lucrative, multi-year contract.

While the Indians seem prepared to go into 2014 with their current crop of pitchers, Ubaldo (or even Ervin Santana) would make the starting rotation a lot stronger.
