Everyone likes a souvenir from Disney World. The Cleveland Indians could have a few when they return from the winter meetings were next week.

The Tribe’s decision makers will join their counterparts from the other 29 big-league teams at the Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Fla., from Dec. 9-12.

Judging by the crazy money that’s been flying around baseball these days, don’t expect the Indians to break the piggy bank, not even to sign a starting pitcher. The Indians did that last year on Nick Swisher and Michael Bourn, and they’ll both be around for a few more years.

Instead, the Tribe will go thrift shopping, hoping to find bargains like Scott Kazmir and Ryan Raburn, who contributed to their playoff run in 2013.

If the Indians do something big, it would be a trade of either Drew Stubbs or Asdrubal Cabrera. The Tribe has enough good hitters to survive their departures, and they need to bring in some veteran pitching to replace Scott Kazmir and the soon-to-depart Ubaldo Jimenez.
