The Cleveland Browns' top draft pick, cornerback Justin Gilbert, left practice on Wednesday, but he "WILL be back in action" today, he tweeted.
Head coach Mike Pettine also downplayed Gilbert's injury.
"That was just a bag of ice," he said.
Despite all the hype over the Browns' other first-round pick, quarterback Johnny Manziell, Gilbert may be more important to the Browns' fortunes this year. If he can play at a high level, then cornerback could be a position of strength with Gilbert and Pro Bowler Joe Haden.Tags: Cleveland, Cleveland Browns, Football, NFL
