When the Cleveland Browns fired general manager Mike Lombardi and CEO Joe Banner today, it was easy to say "Here we go again."

It seemed like another surprise demolition of an important component of the team, like the trade of Trent Richardson and the firing of Rob Chudzinski.

However, the hiring of Ray Farmer as general manager gave the fans (and host) of The Sports Fix a sense of hope during the discussion on today's show.

Farmer was sought after by the Miami Dolphins for their GM job, and owner Jimmy Haslam called him the "best talent evaluator" on the team at today's press conference.

The next three months are very important. Farmer needs to bring in quality free agents and add some dynamite draft picks, so head coach Mike Pettine will finally be able to build a winning team in Cleveland.
