Cleveland Browns Looking at Kyle Shanahan, John DeFilippo for Offensive Coordinator Job

Now that Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine has brought Buffalo assistant Jim O'Neil with him to run the Browns defense, he can focus his attention on the offensive coordinator job.

According to ESPN, the Browns will talk to former Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan about the position today. ESPN also reported that Oakland Raiders quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo will get an interview tomorrow.

In addition to O'Neil, Pettine also hired Buffalo assistants Chuck Driesbach (linebackers), Jeff Hafley (defensive backs) and Brian Fleury (assistant linebackers). 

Pettine also retained Cleveland Browns assistants Chris Tabor (special teams), Bobby Babich (assistant defensive backs) and Shawn Mennenga (assistant special teams).

Finally, Brian Angelichio joined the Browns as the tight ends coach after coming over from Tampa Bay.
