Dirk Koetter is the newest candidate for the Cleveland Browns head coaching job, according to Fox Sports.

Koetter has been the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons for the last two seasons. Before that, he held the same post with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Browns seem to be scrambling for viable candidates now that the two top contenders, Adam Gase (Broncos OC) and Josh McDaniels (Patriots OC), have taken themselves out of the running.

Also, the Browns interviewed Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Mike Pettine for a second time last night, according to the Beacon Journal.

Obviously, this is a big decision, and the Browns have to hire the right guy, but since the top contenders are gone, the Browns are getting to the point where they just need to hire somebody.
