Greg Little and Davone Bess are two of the biggest reasons why the Cleveland Browns beat the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens 24-18 on Sunday.
The two receivers finally took the pressure off Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron. Little hauled in seven passes for 122 yards. Bess bounced back from an awful game against the Chiefs to catch two touchdown passes from Jason Campbell.
The Browns’ defense should also get a ton of credit for the victory. Five different players sacked Joe Flacco, and Joe Haden had a much-needed interception.
Also, the defense stuffed the Ravens’ running attack, holding Ray Rice to just 17 yards on the ground.
Give head coach Rob Chudzinski and coordinators Norv Turner and Ray Horton their due: after all of the upheaval of this season, the Browns can enjoy the week off and get ready to make some noise in the second half of the season.
