Cleveland Browns Will Be Ready for Return of Detroit Lions’ Calvin Johnson

The Cleveland Browns have some good news regarding injuries this week, but the most important injury-related question is whether Detroit wide receiver Calvin Johnson will play against the Browns tomorrow.

Johnson sat out last week with a knee injury in the Lions’ 22-9 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Detroit has listed “Megatron” as questionable for the Browns’ game.

While Joe Haden says he is ready when Johnson plays or sits, the Browns would have a much easier time without having to worry about Johnson.

The Browns would also benefit considering the Lions will also be without wide receiver Nate Burleson (forearm) and tight end Tony Scheffler (concussion).

The good news on the Browns’ side is the impending return of linebackers Jabaal Sheard (knee) and Quentin Groves (ankle). The Browns will need them to help contain the rushing and receiving of Lions running backs Reggie Bush and Joique Bell.
