BREAKING NEWS: Manfred Elected as Next Commissioner

BREAKING NEWS: Per Michael S. Schmidt of the New York Times, Rob Manfred has been elected as the next commissioner of Major League Baseball. Manfred will succeed Bud Selig, who has been at the helm for more than 20 years.

Manfred is set to take over the position in January of 2015, making him the sport's 10 commissioner.
