Derrick Rose has finally publicly stated himself, for the first time since his ACL injury on the opening day of the 2012 NBA playoffs, that he is at last at 100%. Much controversy arose during the season as Rose's return date was continually left up in the air and even projected return dates were pushed back despite reports of Rose thriving in practices and scrimmages upon being cleared for contact. Rose has now been on record saying that he will in fact be active and on the court for the first game of the next season.

Rose in the meanwhile has been on tour around the world, currently with stops all around Europe. Rose continues to be one of the most popular players in the league and should he return to his previous MVP form, any and all doubts about his character or mental toughness will quickly be forgotten.

Summer League Update:

The Bulls have also won their Summer League opener behind the help of 2nd year guard, Marquis Teague, and former Laker, Andrew Goudelock. Draft picks, Tony Snell and Erik Murphy, made their debuts as well. Snell showed promise while Murphy struggled.
