Former Chicago Bears head coach and tight end Mike Ditka was hospitilized Friday after suffering what doctors called a "very minor stroke."

Ditka, 73, hasn't had any major health issues of late, but did suffer a heart attack while coaching the Bears in 1988.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Ditka said, "I feel good right now and it's not a big deal."

He said he was playing cards when he realized his hands weren't working right, then he had trouble talking.

Ditka currently does broadcast work for ESPN, but won't be fulfilling his duties this Sunday.
