Fan Fest a Success
The Panthers held their annual Fan Fest last weekend, which, according to the Charlotte Observer, drew a crowd of more than 20,000 fans.
Those who attended got an opportunity to get up close and personal with some of their favorite players for an array of competitions, a live practice, and, of course, autographs.
The crowd of 20,134 was the just short of last year's attendance of 22,070 – the largest since 1996.

The team added Scott, a fifth-round selection of the Steelers in 2010, just a day after the abrupt release of veteran offensive lineman Geoff Hangartner. Scott was released by the Bills last month after reportedly failing his conditioning test.
According to the Charlotte Observer, the 26-year-old – who was reported to weigh 360 pounds earlier this offseason – was carted off the field during Monday's practice due to dehydration.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Silva spent the last two seasons working his way up the Detroit Lions' depth chart. The former Hampton Pirate started six games for Jim Schwartz's squad last season, tallying 40 tackles and one interception.
The Panthers waived injured defensive tackle Lindon Gaydosh to make room for the new signings.
First depth chart released
The Panthers released their first depth chart on Monday. In light of the aforementioned release of Geoff Hangartner, left guard has become the only real uncertainty heading into the preseason.
