The Americans, who has to push til the end of the season to secure a playoff spot, will line up against the St. Louis Blues affiliate with a full arsenal of players who the Buffalo Sabres will not be needing during the playoff times.

Despite their recent struggles, the only reason that it appeared that the Americans were struggling was because of injuries and through call ups to the NHL. Now that the Sabres season is over, the team has restocked and is looking to go deep into the playoffs.

The Americans have also added juniors talent like Mikhail Grigorenko who is now eligible to play in the AHL that the juniors season has concluded.
