If Omark should clear waivers by noon on Saturday, the Sabres could send him to Rochester or keep him on the NHL roster.

Omark, who was aquired from the Edmonton Oilers for a conditional sixth-round pick, led the Oklahoma City Barons of the AHL with 14 goals and 15 assists in 29 games.

So far this season Omark has two assists in 14 NHL games, 13 coming with the Sabres.
