Marcus Foligno's return to the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday seems a sure thing, but Ryan Miller's return is less so.
Foligno practiced Monday and is expected to make his season debut at home against Tampa Bay. An upper-body injury kept him out of the first three games. His return is expected to help a pathetic offense that's scored two goals thus far this year.
"This is a time to really establish myself and help out the team, and hopefully tomorrow’s a big game for myself and for the team. We need to get it back on track here, and we really can’t let games slide," Foligno said.
Miller may miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury. He missed Saturday's loss to Pittsburgh after making 44 saves in Friday's 1-0 loss to Ottawa. Coach Ron Rolston said the decision will be made Tuesday. Jhonas Enroth will start if Miller can't.
Cody Hodgson missed Monday's practice with a lower-body injury but is expected to play Tuesday.
