Buffalo Sabres Announce Truncated Season, Begin with Afternoon Game Against Philadelphia Flyers

For most NHL teams, the season will begin on Jan. 19, but the Buffalo Sabres will begin their sprint on Jan. 20 against the Philadelphia Flyers at 12:30 pm.

The Sabres will begin at home this season before traveling to Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs Monday, and will close out the first week of the season with a home-and-home series against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Sabres also announced that Fan Appreciation Night will be April 26, a home game against the New York Islanders. Buffalo also announced their ticket prices for the season, their complete schedule can be found here.  There will be no preseason this year, and only a week of training camp before the season begins.
