The National Hockey league and its players union are set to meet again Monday after a three-hour session Sunday.
ESPN reported the two sides met in Manhattan on Sunday to discuss the league's most recent CBA proposal. The players are expected to possibly present a counteroffer Monday.
The two sides have only weeks to save the season. Most indications are the season would have to begin by the middle of January in order to commence in 2012-13. The league has already canceled games through Jan. 14.
