The continuous bickering between rich players and richer owners has caused more games to be canceled in the 2012-2013 NHL season.

The NHL announced that the scheduled has been canceled through Dec. 14, and the All-Star weekend in Columbus is also canceled. This coming just days after the NHLPA submitted a full-detailed CBA proposal as the league had requested. A total of 422 regular season games have been axed by the league, totaling to 34.3 percent of the season, reports.

"The reality of losing more regular-season games as well as the 2013 NHL All-Star Weekend in Columbus is extremely disappointing," NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly told "We feel badly for NHL fans and particularly those in Columbus, and we intend to work closely with the Blue Jackets organization to return the NHL All-Star events to Columbus and their fans as quickly as possible."

Daly's claims that the league "feels badly for NHL fans" are falling on deaf ears at this point. The league and Union both have been at a stalemate for quite sometime, proving to its fans that they are a distant second to money in the minds of the players and owners.
