In an attempt to come closer on a deal, Time Warner and MSG have agreed to televise the Feb. 11 Buffalo Sabres game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The game will be televised on WGRZ channel two in Buffalo and channel 10 in Rochester. This game is the only upcoming game currently on the schedule to be televised by Time Warner.

"We are glad that MSG has found a way to offer this Sabres game to our fans on local television," team president Ted Black said. "We realize that fans have been in a tough spot since Jan. 1, and we are hopeful that Time Warner Cable will engage in meaningful negotiations with MSG so that a deal can be reached to bring MSG’s networks and our games back to Time Warner Cable customers."

The game begins at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a full post-game show.
