Andre Reed had to wait considerably longer than many Buffalo Bills fans had hoped to get enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but his time has come, and with it, comes the spotlight.

Reed will be the focus of an NFL Films documentary, "The Middle Man- The Road To Canton," which is set to air on the NFL Network Thursday at 10 pm. The title figures to play off of Reed's willingness to catch passes over the middle, in an era where big hits weren't flagged for player safety, but encouraged. The film will feature commentary from Reed and some of his teammates, as they relive the dynasty that almost was the Bills of the early 90s, and Reed's important role on the team.

Reed will be enshrined into the Hall of Fame on Aug. 2, with the Bills ready to take on the New York Giants in the Hall of Fame game the next day. Marv Levy will introduce Reed as he finally gets the honor many believe has been so long overdue.
