A petition making its way around the Internet calls upon Buffalo Bills brass to end the Bills Toronto Series.
The petition, created by Thomas Dayton of South Carolina, calls for the Bills to play all home games in Buffalo. It also looks for the Bills to create non-voting shares of stock for the public to purchase. The Green Bay Packers are run in this manner, but they were grandfathered in after an NFL rule was passed banning the practice.
"We realize that owning an NFL team is a revenue-generating enterprise, and we vow to support the team no matter what," the petition said. "We will support the team financially as long as they are in Buffalo."
The petition had 329 signatures as of Tuesday evening.
