The Boston Red Sox have placed outfielder Shane Victorino on the Disabled List with a right hamstring injury, according to a report from CBS Sports. Victorino missed the first 22 games of the season with the same issue, but his hammy appears to be acting up again.  Daniel Nava has been recalled from Pawtucket to take his place on the roster.

Victorino is hitting .242/.276/.352 in 21 games this season.

Boston has also called up Brandon Workman to start tomorrow's game in place of the injured Felix Doubront.

David Ortiz (calf) and Mike Napoli (finger, hamstring) are also out of today's lineup, but there has been no word that either will require a trip to the DL.
