The guessing is just about over on the Rajon Rondo return. Friday is looking like the day. The drama will now shift from his return to trades.

While the Celtics have been coy, all indications have been that Rondo would return Friday. Rondo hinted at Friday's return earlier this week on Twitter by offereing the time (in seconds) between his surgery and Friday's tipoff. His teammates have been careful in what they say about his return but have often hinted at the Friday return as well.

Let's take a look at a few things we should be excited about when Rajon Rondo returns to the floor on Friday night.

1. Winning tip-offs

No, Rondo does not take the tip-off, but he does do some fun stuff when the Celtics win the tip.

Here is a great video of all of his trickery at the start of the game.

2. Moments of greatness

Rajon Rondo is an All-Star. His surrounding cast cannot say that. However, with his passing skill hopefully Rondo will at least once a game make a pass (probably on the break) that makes us remember how good he really can be.

3. Half court offense

While there are times when Rondo can be a maddening point guard that pounds the ball and just needs it in his hands, the hope is that he has learned some new ways to run an offense while watching from the sidelines the past 23 million seconds.

4. The Brad Stevens and Rajon Rondo love affair

It was well documented over the summer. Rondo and Stevens sharing books and ideas about basketball. This is something get excited about. If Danny Ainge does not trade Rondo and this working relationship develops then the team could improve quickly.

5. Finally, some answers!

The questioning can stop, and the answers can begin. Is Rondo the answer for this team? Does he fit in? How will be cope without three Hall of Fame players surrounding him?

It's all going to start to come into focus over the rest of the season.
