Some "experts" out there may still not believe that Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco as one of the best quarterbacks in the game, but he is certainly one of the most infamous McDonalds' customers and now he is set to appear in a national commercial for the fast foot chain.
If you have not heard the story, let us fill you in. Just after Flacco signed his mega six year $120.6 million deal this offseason, he decided that his first meal following the signing would be some drivethru McDonalds and his visit instantly went viral.
Later this month, according to his agent Joe Lenta, McDonalds will begin to air Flacco's commercial with the fast food king. Flacco's commercial is a part of long-term contract that Flacco and McDonalds have struck.
Considered a very low key and family oriented player, Flacco found time in his schedule to shoot the commercial while he was in Los Angeles appearing in a promotional add for Fox Sports.
McDonalds is not the only brand that Flacco has a sponsorship deal with as he has deals with Reebok, as well as local Baltimore area companies: First Mariner Bank, Al Packer Ford and Pizza Hut to go along with some others.
The Super Bowl MVP is coming off of a playoff run that saw him tie an NFL record with 11 touchdown passes in a single postseason and all while not throwing a single interception. One thing is for certain, Flacco may play four quarters a game, but his favorite post game meal may become a quarter pounder with cheese, but for scrambling sake, please hold the mayo.
