The Ravens are looking to add some depth to the quarterback position before the draft next week.  NFL.com reported that Kyle Boller and Dennis Dixon will workout with the team today. Additionally, former Indianapolis Colt, Curtis Painter, will also visit the team in the upcoming days.

Ravens Nation remembers Boller as our first round draft pick back in 2003.  He is also remembered as a great disappointment that did not live up to his draft status.  His lack of success on such a powerhouse team lead to his release.  Most recently, Boller spent this past season as an Oakland Raider.  There are high hopes that perhaps this current Baltimore team could be more fitting for Boller as a potential back up for starting QB, Joe Flacco

Joining Boller at today's workout will be Dennis Dixon, a former quarterback for Pittsburgh.  Since his release, he has visited the Denver Broncos and the St. Louis Rams.  Dixon is a young QB that if put with the right team can prove to be a strong option as a back up with great learning potential.

The Ravens have made it clear that even though they are bringing in QB options for the chance to play behind Joe Flacco, they are still entirely supportive of their current second string quarterback, Tyrod Taylor.  With the lack of a concrete, long term deal with Flacco, the team is making it a priority to explore options to give the greatest depth chart possible for the team at the QB position.
