Orioles101 Daily Minor League Rundown: 8/25 Baltimore Orioles Affiliates Go 2-2

Here is your daily Baltimore Orioles Minor League rundown with quick game summaries for each of the Orioles Minor League affiliates for the day. Keep in mind that we have kept this to the five major affiliates, but will give you periodic updates on the Orioles DSL and GCL teams as well throughout the summer.

AAA Norfolk Tides (61-75)

Tides lose 6-4

  • Christian Walker went 2-4 with a home run, RBI and two runs scored
  • Henry Urrutia went 4-4 with a double, RBI and run scored
  • Chris Jones allowed two runs in 6 2/3 innings of work

AA Bowie Baysox (67-67)

Baysox lose 10-7

  • Mike Ohlman went 3-4 with a double and run scored
  • Kyeong Kang went 2-5 with a home run and three RBI
  • Branden Kline allowed nine runs in 4 2/3 innings in his second AA start

High-A Frederick Keys (60-68)

Keys win 6-0

  • Wynston Sawyer went 3-4 with a RBI and two runs scored
  • Brenden Webb went 2-4 with a RBI and two runs scored
  • Parker Bridwell put on a show as he tossed eight shutout innings, while giving up just one hit and striking out 13

Low-A Delmarva Shorebirds (64-68)

Off Day

Short-Season A Aberdeen Ironbirds (23-45)

Ironbirds win 7-6

  • Hector Veloz went 2-5 with a double, home run, two RBI and two runs scored
  • Austin Anderson went 2-5 with two RBI
  • Mike Burke picked up the win tossing two shutout innings in relief
