Orioles101 Daily Minor League Rundown: 8/4 Only One Win for Baltimore Orioles Affiliates

Here is your daily Baltimore Orioles Minor League rundown with quick game summaries for each of the Orioles Minor League affiliates for the day. Keep in mind that we have kept this to the five major affiliates, but will give you periodic updates on the Orioles DSL and GCL teams as well throughout the summer.

AAA Norfolk Tides (54-63)

Tides lose 7-4

  • Quintin Berry went 4-5 
  • Julio Borbon went 2-5 with a RBI
  • Mike Wright allowed five runs (two earned runs) over 5 2/3 innings

AA Bowie Baysox (57-58)

Off Day

High-A Frederick Keys (51-58)

Off Day

Low-A Delmarva Shorebirds (56-57)

Game 1

Shorebirds lose 2-0

  • Jeff Kemp went 2-4
  • Anthony Vega had a double
  • Steven Brault allowed two runs over five innings

Game 2

Shorebirds lose 2-0

  • Anthony Vega got the lone hit for the Shorebirds
  • Janser Severino allowed one run over five innings

Short-Season A Aberdeen Ironbirds (18-32)

Ironbirds win 6-3

  • Stephen Wilkerson went 2-4 with two doubles and two runs scored
  • Cory Segui went 2-4 with a RBI and two runs scored
  • Max Schuh tosses two perfect innings in relief with three strikeouts to pick up the win
