We are experiencing a blast of warmer air here in Charm City and it is certainly welcomed, but imagine the warmth you would feel if you were at the Baltimore Orioles Spring Training complex at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Florida.

The Birds are once again inviting fans fans to to come out and watch the team's workouts on the back fields at the Ed Smith Stadium complex this Spring……Free of charge!

Fans can come watch their favorite players take the field and work on all things baseball related from hitting drills, fielding drills, sprints, bullpens, and even for you ladies out there, stretching. The offer is valid through March 1, when the Orioles begin playing home Spring Training games.

Yeah, but surely there is a charge for parking right? Nope, the team announces that there is free parking available in the East Lot off 12th street and Tuttle Avenue.

The team hosted its first official full team workout on Wednesday so all Birds are now at the complex available to see. The club will work out from approximately 9:15 a.m. – noon each day thereafter, leading up to the first home game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday, March 1.

This is a great opportunity for Orioles' fans who will be in the Sarasota area over the next week and a half to enjoy some Orioles baseball, see your favorite players in action, take in some knowledge regarding baseball workouts and best of all it's all free.

Of course, it does not help those who cannot make the journey down south to sunny Florida, but it is still good to see the team do this for fans that do have the opportunity to go.
