King Reina vs. Cindy Dandois is one of two solid women’s bouts confirmed for the RIZIN Fighting Federation shows in December. Though no official date for either has been announced; King Reina will welcome UFC & Invicta FC veteran Cindy Dandois to the RIZIN ring while Shinju Nozawa Auclair and Chelsea LaGrasse will revisit a rivalry from their days as an amateur. Michael Chandler returns vs. Goiti Yamauchi at Bellator 192

Photo via Bellator MMA It’s not quite against who we expected it to be – but “Iron” Michael Chandler is back. The former lightweight king will face rising contender; Goiti Yamauchi. Chandler made the bout official via Instagram. Chandler (16-4) had his four-fight win streak snapped by Brent Primus at Bellator NYC last June. The bout ended via unfortunate injury after Chandler seemingly rolled his ankle early in the fight. Jiří Procházka (19-3-1) is currently riding a three-fight win streak. In his last outing, Procházka returned from knee injury after over a year away. Mirko Cro Cop ends retirement, faces Tsuyoshi Kosaka in RIZIN return

One of the most respected fighters in the history of combat sports, Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipović is back. The 43-year-old legend fighting out of Croatia will return to the ring on December 31 when he takes on another veteran in the form of 47-year-old “TK”, Tsuyoshi Kosaka. Filipović (35-11-2, 1NC) retired last December on one of the biggest highs imaginable. RIZIN Bantamweight Grand-Prix Quarter-Finals Announced

Japanese-based MMA promotion, RIZIN Fighting Federation, has announced the quarter-final match-ups for their bantamweight grand-prix – and amongst them are some barnburners. The tournament has filled out completely with the addition of two wildcard fighters. Gabriel Oliveira joins the tournament, fresh off the victory over Kawajiri. UFC-veteran Ian McCall has also signed to compete in the tournament. On October 29, 2017, Melvin “No Mercy” Manhoef competed in what he has said will be his last kickboxing match. Fittingly enough, it was against fifteen-year rival Remy Bonjasky.
