  1. Serge Ibaka Oklahoma City Thunder- Over the past few years Ibaka has been around the top of the list for shot blockers. He can get to the ball from the help side or he will take it out of the air if you go straight up.
  2. Larry Sanders Milwaukee Bucks- Sanders is quietly one of the best guys to defend the rim but his blocking ability tends to get him in foul trouble. If you can stand to watch a Bucks game, keep an eye on him.
  3. LeBron James Miami Heat- While known for his offensive game, it is around the basket that LeBron makes his presence known on defense. His is notorious for wiping the glass with your shot when you think it's a wide open lay up.
  4. JaVale McGee Denver Nuggets- JaVale has made a name for himself on the defensive end and now, with some maturity and coaching, his game at the other end is catching up. His length and athleticism makes him one to look for when you get into the paint.
  5. Josh Smith Detroit Pistons- Josh is one of the best at protecting the basket. During his time in Atlanta he would wow the crowd by blocking a shot and then finishing the fast break at the other end.
  6. Roy Hibbert Indiana Pacers- Hibbert has improved his game every season that he has been in the league. He has always made opposing teams stop and take a bad shot so that he wouldn't swat it away.
  7. Tim Duncan San Antonio Spurs- Tim is getting older but he is still a guy who knows how to time a shot and go get it.
  8. Dwight Howard Houston Rockets- D12 typically is known for grabbing the boards in the paint, but if you dare to challenge him you will likely lose.
  9. Brook Lopez Brooklyn Nets- When you think of shot blockers, Lopez's name is not the first to pop in your mind yet he averaged just over two swats a game.
  10. Joakim Noah Chicago Bulls- He is gritty, he hustles and he gets under the skin of his opponents. Another way that he aggravates the other team is by averaging 2.14 blocks per game.
