HAWKS 101

The Atlanta Hawks GM Danny Ferry was fined $15,000 by the NBA for inappropriate interaction with a game official after Saturday nights loss to the Boston Celtics. Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations announced the fine. 

Sources have stated that Ferry gave the officials a DVD recording of the game. Team officials are supposed to send that type of stuff to the league for it to be looked at. According to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Ferry apparently wanted to show that Boston's point guard Rajon Rondo had contact with a game official and was not ejected in the third quarter. 

Rondo has, however, been suspended for a game after the incident was reviewed by the league.
