The Atlanta Hawks Prepare to Face the Memphis Grizzlies

The Atlanta Hawks travel to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies. The Grizz are on a 13 game wining streak over Eastern Conference opponents. Memphis has a record of 9-1 at home and the Hawks are 4-2 on the road.  Both teams are known for defense, Atlanta is holding its opponents to an average of 94.3 points per game and Memphis is keeping their opponents to a 91.1 average. Atlanta is the NBA's only team to not allow an opponent to shoot 50 percent in a game.

Memphis is led by Rudy Gay (19.1 points per game) and Zach Randolph (17.5 ppg). Mike Conley ranks high amongst the league's best with 2.7 steals per game. 

Both teams have records of 8-2 in the past 10 games. Atlanta has defeated opponents like the Los Angeles Clippers and the Denver Nuggets, while the Memphis Grizzlies have defeated the likes of the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks. 

The Atlanta Hawks are led by Josh Smith (16.5 ppg) and Al Horford (16.4 ppg). Kyle Korver is not expected to play due to back spasms.
