Loading ...Michael Cunningham of AJC.com has reported that the Atlanta Hawks have added Kenny Atkinson to the staff. Atkinson worked as player development coach last season with the New York Knicks, but Nick Van Exel has been over the team's player development for the past couple of seasons (Does that mean that Nick "the Quick" is out or will he be placed in another role? We'll see.) The Hawks have not yet made it clear what Atkinson's role will be with the team. Later it was also announced by Cunningham that Kenny Gattison and Tyrone Hill were let go by the franchise.
There have been no official announcement made by the Atlanta Hawks on any of these moves so far.
