Roddy White had an impressive iron-man like streak in his NFL career in which he hadn't missed a game in 133 straight contests.  Even while battling a high ankle sprain all season and not being nearly the force he was over the last six seasons, White still played through the pain.

Now it appears that the pain in his ankle has limited him so much that the Falcons coaching staff has finally decided to hold White out of Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.

It was a historic streak for White.  He trails all time leader for wide receivers, Tim Brown, by 43. Brown had a streak of 176 straight starts.

The Falcons will now have a receiving corps. that will look far different than what was projected at the beginning of the season.  Without Julio Jones and White, the Falcons will have to rely on Harry Douglas, Kevin Cone and Drew Davis.
