After the horrific news that Julio Jones would be out for the year with a foot injury, the Falcons have now placed Jones who was having an outstanding season with 41 catches, 580 yards and two touchdowns, on the IR. This officially ends Jones' season. With that move, the Falcons also signed free agent wide receiver Brian Robiskie.
Robiskie has been a journeyman wide receiver for most of his career which started with the Cleveland Browns. In his four seasons, he only had double digit receptions once and that was in 2010 with 29.
So don't expect Robiskie to even come close to matching Jones' level of production.
It's not clear where Robiskie will end up on the depth chart.
The season marches on with yet another season ending injury for the Atlanta Falcons.
