Yesterday, every team in the NFL had to cut their rosters down to 53 players. While this was a tough day for many players who didn't make their respective teams, some of them got a consolation prize: a spot on the practice squad.
Unfortunately for fan favorite Brian Banks, he did not make the team.

It was good to see Darius Johnson make the practice squad after he was snubbed from the 53-man roster after putting up arguably the best preseason stats out of the back up WRs.
The roster and the practice squad is set. The first game is one week from today on September 8th against the
much loved loathed New Orleans Saints in the f riendly hostile confines of the Super Dome.
