Atlanta Braves pitcher Brandon Beachy played catch on Sunday for the first time since being shut down over a week ago during his Tommy John surgery rehab, ajc.com reports.

Beachy threw sets from 30 and 60 feet at Miller Park in Milwaukee and is scheduled to throw at least a couple bullpen sessions before getting back into minor league rehab games.

Fluid build-up and stiffness in Beachy's elbow caused the Braves to shut him down, marking his first setback in the rehab process. His throwing session Sunday came 10 days after that.

With the setback, Beachy will now likely have to make his Major League comeback after the All-Star break.
