The Arizona Diamondbacks will face off with the Los Angeles Dodgers for game two of the three game series, after the game one loss to Clayton Kershaw (4-3) on Friday night, the D-backs will face Dan Haren (6-4) in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Haren will go up against one of the D-backs best pitchers so far this year in Josh Collmenter (4-3).

Dan Haren has posed a treat to the D-backs all season long, and has pitched efficiently through the D-backs bating line-up. Through 70 games Haren has faced 82 D-backs batters and has only allowed 12 runs on 27 hits among them, of the 82 at bats Haren has only allowed 11 RBI's.

Of all the batters, Chris Owings and Eric Chavez have faired good against Haren, Chavez is perfect (3 of 3) and Owings is (7 of 8) and  should they continue their dominance, that will help give the D-backs a fighting chance to win this game.

Collmenter on the other hand has actually faired better against the Dodgers in his facing of 47 batters, as a team the Dodgers are hitting .255 against Collmenter with Adrian Gonzales most of that percentage with a .600 average.

Here are the clear keys to a D-back win, Collmenter keep Gonzales under control, if it were only that simple but the D-backs have not fared great against the Dodgers all year and need to find some advantage to change their fortunes.
