After receiving heavy criticism for the last week the Arizona Diamondbacks Gerardo Parra and Martin Prado step their game up in the White Sox series and get some clutch hitting.

On Sunday early in the game Parra got things started with an all to important lead off triple on a fly ball to left center field, and following right after that Martin Prado drove him in with a two strike single for the 1-0 early lead.

Later in the game Parra contributed to the 5-1 win with a two-run home run and went 2-for-5 on the day which was much needed, and the D-backs have now won three consecutive series, which has not been done sense 2012.

A hitting slump going 4-for-30 at bats coming into the series Prado had got the team off to a good start in an area that has struggled all season long, getting lead off hitting.

This is the key to getting Goldie and Montero to drive in early runs and get the team on a hot streak that could lift them out of the whole their in.

Only time will tell but sitting at 10 games under 500 it's going to take the winning of several more series in a row to pull even.
