No changes are being planned for the Arizona Cardinals.

At least not yet.

It was a rough game for the Red Birds that's for sure. They gained just 30 rushing yards on 18 carries. Andre Ellington could not get out in space. Carson Palmer was sacked seven times and pressured numerous other times. The offensive line was brutal overall. There were no big plays, plays that can break the back of an opposing defense.

“I think it’s the first time in my 20 years in the NFL that we came out of the game with no explosive plays – runs or passes,” lamented head coach Bruce Arians to

No doubt the Seahawks own one of the best defenses in the NFL. They entered the game ranked second in the league in total defense. Still that did not excuse Arizona's performance in the eyes of Arians.

“We did not play very well in this ballgame,” Arians said via “That’s a very a good (Seattle) front, but we did not play as well as we’ve been playing. (Left tackle) Bradley (Sowell) struggled with his pressures. (Right guard) Paul (Fanaika) struggled with his pressures. (Right tackle) Eric (Winston) struggled. “The only guy that played really well up front was (center) Lyle (Sendlein). He graded out extremely well. Everyone else struggled.”

They sure did. The 3-4 Cardinals don't play their next game until Oct. 27 against the Atlanta Falcons in Glendale. By that time, Larry Fitzgerald's hamstring issue will hopefully be resolved. Hopefully the offensive line can make some strides in practice. The running game needs to get going.

A chance at a NFC Wild card berth depends on it.
