Arizona Cardinals tight end Rob Housler is expected to miss his second straight game this Sunday against the Detroit Lions with a high ankle sprain.

The Florida Atlantic product has yet to resume practicing and the time table for his return is not known at this time.

Housler led all Arizona tight ends last season with 45 receptions for 417 yards. The tight end is an important component in head coach Bruce Arians' offensive attack so Housler's return can't come soon enough.

Housler was seen catching passes on one of the outdoor practice fields during the open portion of Cardinals' practice yesterday.

Larry Fitzgerald's hamstring injury no big deal

All-Pro wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has been hampered by a hamstring injury this week but should be good to go against the Lions on Sunday.

"I'm fine," Fitzgerald told espn.com. "Never like to be on there (the injury report), but it’s part of the game. Everything’s good though."

The University of Pittsburgh product is coming off his best game in some time when he caught eight passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns against St. Louis last week.
